%X The geostatistc methods are one of the most powerful tools to the spatial analysis in environments of Geographic Information System (SIG). The objective of this work was to evaluate the spatial behavior of the water turbidity variable correlating it with the bathymetric data in a part of the of the Curuai Lake (PA) plain. In the methodology it was used the scatter diagram showing the correlation between the bathymetric and turbidity data in the periods of flood and low waters. It was done the modeling between the bathymetric data in both periods through the triangular chart in the Spring System 4.3.2. The low waters corresponding data was corrected due to the low water level. In the Ordinary Kriging Geostatistics processed in the Spring System, it was analyzed the turbidity applying the descriptive statistics and the adjusted and validated unidirectional semivariogram of the samples (exponential model in both periods). The calculated scatter diagram for the turbidity and deepness data showed a low correlation among the data. In the low waters period the correlation is smaller and in this period the lake deepness is bigger (7 meters). The comparison of the turbidity Spatial Kriging data with the land surface modeling of the deepness one made evident that the relation between them is small during the low waters period. In the period of high deepness, the turbidity suffered no influence creating a homogenous surface.
